Join us on Love Your Bookshop Day for the best kind of smackdown in town! Bring a two minute rave about your fave YA, and be prepared to tell us all about it. YA lovers will go head-to-head, as an audience of likeminded readers pick the most convincing arguments, and crown the YA Smackdown winner of 2017.

What you need to do:

Bring a two minute rave about your fave YA book/series, and be prepared to wax lyrical about it in front of people. Prepare a few in case someone else talks up your fave and you don’t want to double-up. And also, if you make the finals, you might want to share a different book!

If you’re too timid to express your love in front of an audience, you can just come and watch – and vote! There will be lucky door prizes too!

Snacks will be provided to keep up your enthusiasm!
