Permanent Part Time (15 – 23 hours/ week)

 

Kinokuniya Bookstores of Australia is the largest retail bookstore in the Asia Pacific region. Located in the heart of Sydney CBD, we pride ourselves in being the largest bookstore in Australia with expansive space and specialised departments spanning from Comics to Art and Design.

 

Kinokuniya is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to work in the Non-Fiction English Books Department.

 

The ideal applicant will have an extensive knowledge including History, Travel, Politics, Business, Social Science and Religion. Familiarity with children’s books is advantageous but not essential. You will need to be available to work approximately 15 – 23 hours per week, preferably on weekdays.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Customer Service: face-to-face and through phone and email
  • Daily housekeeping and merchandising of stock
  • Ad-hoc duties when required

 

Essential:

  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team
