Customer Service Representative – Permanent Part Time (Chatswood)
Approximately 2-4 days per week.
Kinokuniya Bookstores of Australia is the largest retail bookstore in the Asia Pacific region, with over 80 operations worldwide. With our current store located in the heart of Sydney CBD, we pride ourselves on being the largest bookstore in Australia with expansive space and specialised departments spanning from Comics to Art and Design.
Kinokuniya will soon be opening a brand-new store in Chatswood. Thus, we are looking for part time customer service representatives to commence work in the first half of 2026.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Monitoring the physical stock in the store, ensuring that the display of merchandise is organised in a presentable manner;
- Rendering excellent customer service and providing accurate information in response to customer enquiries;
- Maintaining a superior knowledge base of stock within the store, to ensure effective recommendations;
- Handling of cash registers for the purpose of purchase transactions;
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
The successful candidate should have:
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
- Excellent people and communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- High level of attention to detail.
