STATIONERY DEPARTMENT

Part Time (14 – 35 Hours Per Week)

 

Kinokuniya Bookstores of Australia is the largest retail bookstore in the Asia Pacific region. Located in the heart of Sydney CBD, we pride ourselves in being the largest bookstore in Australia with expansive space and specialised departments spanning from Comics to Art and Design.

 

Kinokuniya is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to work in the Stationery Department.

 

The ideal applicant will have some knowledge of Stationery and at least 1 year of retail experience is preferred.

 

Essential:

  • To be able to understand product details/information written in Japanese
  • Strong interest in Stationery items
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team

 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Customer Service: face-to-face and through phone and email
  • Daily housekeeping and merchandising of stock
  • Ad-hoc duties when required
