PERMANENT PART TIME (22.5 hours a week)

Kinokuniya Bookstores of Australia is the largest retail bookstore in the Asia Pacific region. Located in the heart of Sydney CBD, we pride ourselves in being the largest bookstore in Australia with expansive space and specialised departments spanning from Comics to Art and Design.

Kinokuniya is seeking a Permanent Part Time staff to work in the Logistics Department for three days per week at our Sydney Town Hall store. 22.5 hours per week is guaranteed and more hours are on offer as per business needs.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Sorting books according to categories;
• Lifting Heavy Cartons (within WHS regulations);
• Sign up for delivery;
• Other ad hoc duties as required.

The successful candidate should attain:

• Innovative and strong work ethics as the role involves repetitive tasks;
• Flexibility to work extra days if required;
• An adequate level of physical fitness as lifting boxes is required;
• 2-3 years of experience in Logistics and Warehouse (preferred but not mandatory);
• Intermediate level or higher proficiency in reading and typing in the Chinese and Japanese languages (preferred but not mandatory).
