PERMANENT FULL-TIME (38 hours/ week)

Books Kinokuniya is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to work in the Comics, Manga and Performing Arts Department at our Sydney Town Hall store.

The ideal applicant will have an interest in and an extensive knowledge of comics and manga. You will need to be available to work approximately 38 hours per week, including at least one weekend. Please note that part-time hours may be available to suitable candidates.

Key Responsibilities include but is not limited to:

• Customer Service: face-to-face and through phone and email;
• Daily housekeeping and merchandising of stock;
• Weekly merchandising of new releases;
• Ad-hoc duties when required.

Essential:

• Excellent people and communication skills;
• Patient nature and the ability to remain calm in different types of situations;
• High level of attention to detail;
• Ability to work well in a team;
• Up-to-date knowledge of comics and manga.
