Missing but Not Missed

The second book in J Wilcox's 'Leslie and Bennett' series. It should be the perfect holiday; the boutique hotel, the picturesque Devon coastline, the uncharacteristically beautiful weather. But, away from his cooking and his garden, Leslie is bored. That is until a body is seen in the sea; one of the delegates on a writing course taking place at his hotel. Everything points to death by natural causes, but Leslie has his doubts, and he's troubled by the lack of friends or family coming forward even though the woman's body has not been recovered. Does no-one care what has become of her? Despite himself, Leslie finds he is drawn into investigating. No-one seems to know anything, until he unleashes his secret weapon, his exquisite cooking, and over his sumptuous meals, people talk. Leslie and Bennett discover that she is not the only one who is missing but not missed.
