FREE COMIC BOOKS // In store // All day (while stocks last)

Each person is allowed up to FOUR free titles on the day.

TWO titles will be the same for everyone,

KAGURABACHI & BORUTO: TWO BLUE VORTEX & GODZILLA: THE NEW HEROES

and TWO other free FCBD comics of your choice from the below line-up, while stocks last.

Use the easy colour-coded logo to choose the comic best for you.

GREEN: All Ages/ Everyone
Appropriate for children, teens, and adults.

BLUE: Teen(+)
Appropriate for teens and readers 13+

RED: Mature
Appropriate for mature audiences or 18+ only

We’ll be opening our doors from 10am for eager comic fans to get first dibs on FREE COMICS!

The following timeslots are available to book:
10.00am | 10.30am | 11.00am | 11.30am

Each person will only be permitted ONE timeslot registration.

If no timeslots are available and allocation has been exhausted, you may join the public queuing from 12.00pm on the day.

COSPLAY COMPETITION // In store // 10am – 4pm

There are 3 categories – BEST COSPLAY / BEST UNDER 12 COSPLAY / PEOPLE’S CHOICE

Each winner will receive:

– $100 Kinokuniya Voucher
–  2 x SMASH! Weekend Tickets
–  2 x full gachapon sets of your choice from Gacha Gacha (current releases and pending stock availability)

* Best Cosplay and Best Under 12 will be judged by Kinokuniya.

* People’s Choice will be will be determined by the most likes via public voting on Facebook.

Walk-ins welcomed after 2pm. One entry per person. Sorry no group photos.

Photos will be taken on the day by professional cosplay photographer Dom Stevens at our Cosplay Competition area located in Wedge Gallery (front of the bookstore).

Please arrive within your nominated time to ensure queue efficiency.

If you are intending to register for both Free Comics Queue and the Cosplay Competition, please ensure you select appropriate times that will allow you to attend both

These exclusive Artbook Showbags are only available to pre-order online! They will not be available to purchase in-store so make sure to pre-order yours by 11.59pm May 1, 2025.

Each showbag comes with a Kino tote, an artbook of your choice and related-merchandise (allocated at random and subject to change).

For those who wish to have the showbag delivered, your showbag will be posted out after FCBD.
