More Wise Men of Helm

After the original discovery of the “town records of Helm,” as revealed in The Wise Men of Helm, another trove of Chelm town records was translated many years later to the great pleasure of young readers. These ancient records of Chelm were originally translated as belonging to Helm and that name has stuck—proving that the people of Chelm are not fools, but foolish things happen to them.  Luckily, we have more episodes from the lovable, laughable wise men to amuse and enlighten. The people of Helm continue to insist they are not foolish as they are faced with some foolish problems that they solve in their own merry way. Each story provides a subtle life lesson for the reader while providing laughs along the way. The sequel to The Wise Men of Helm provides readers with even more humorous folktales from the Jewish tradition of Chelm stories. Great for fans of fool stories, folktales and fables.
