Australians know all about a pub crawl, but how about a book crawl? Kinokuniya Sydney have joined a new international initiative, Global Book Crawl, and you’re invited to take part in the fun!

From 21 to 27 April, Global Book Crawl will bring together bookstores and book lovers from around in the world, with a simple yet powerful idea: to unite local bookshops in a celebration of local literature, community and culture.

A Book Crawl is an adventure through the heart of a city’s local bookshops. Participants visit multiple shops, connecting with the local book culture and discovering hidden gems. Using your Book Crawl Passport, collect at least 2 stamps from participating bookshops (hint, one of them being us! ), and be in the running to win a fabulous book prize pack.

Pick up your passport and start the journey. You’ve got a week to collect your stamps. Use hashtag #globalbookcrawl on social media to add your book crawl to the global story, sharing the magic of your local bookshops with a worldwide audience.

1. Pick up your Book Crawl Passport from our Information Counter.

2. Get your Passport stamped by our staff. Collect another stamp from another participating bookstore found on your map.
