Tohby Riddle Art & Illustration

As part of our annual Kids’ Month, Kinokuniya is pleased to showcase an exhibition of Tohby’s work – old, new, and forthcoming.

Tohby Riddle is a cartoonist and the writer and illustrator of over a dozen picture books, many of which have been shortlisted and awarded as Honour Books in the Children’s Book Council of Australia Awards. Tohby illustrated The Word Spy, written by Ursula Dubosarsky, which won the Patricia Wrightson Prize for Children’s Literature in the 2009 NSW Premier’s Literary Awards, and his stunning picture book Unforgotten has been published in six languages. Tohby’s latest book, The Greatest Gatsby: A Visual Book of Grammar, is a feast of words and images that makes the rules obvious for even the most grammatically challenged among us, and was shortlisted for the 2016 Prime Minister’s Literary Award for Children’s Fiction.

Exhibition closes 27th April.
