Since 1968, the Annual Progress series has been supplying clinicians of varying orientations with a wealth of provocative material on issues in child psychology and treatment. Renowned for both its cutting-edge information and its sustained reference value, the series - edited since 1992 by Margaret E. Hertzig and Ellen A. Farber - has been shaped by a remarkable roster of contributors over the years. Annual Progress in ChildPsychiatry and Child Development, 2000-2001 provides the most current research and scholarship available in the field of child psychiatry and child development. It is a benchmark against which all other contributions to the literature will be measured. Mental health professionals who work with children and adolescents will find the book invaluable for both its timely information and long-term reference value. Researchers will find substantial information in its pages for new spheres of inquiry.
